My name is Dustin Dovala. I am a native of California -- born and raised in San Jose. All of my life I have loved nature, but only in the last couple of years have I really started to become passionate in photography.

I am a student of Bioengineering at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, and I have a ranch in Oakdale. While there is not much wildlife in Stockton, there is plenty at the family ranch and sometimes I even stumble across a raptor (my favorite subjects). There is one red-shouldered hawk there that likes to mess with my mind by landing right next to the house, squawking as loud as it can, waiting for me to get my camera, then flying off :-D
