Earlier photos on here and some more recent ones in South Africa were taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 ultrazoom camera, sometimes with an Olympus T-con 1.7 teleconverter. I then moved to a Pentax K2000 DSLR, often with a Tamron 70-300mm lens and then a Pentax K-x with a 55-300m Pentax zoom. Curently it is the Pentax K-r which I use with a variety of lenses sometimes including old manual lenses like the Tamron Adaptall series, for example.
My general aim is to enjoy wildlife and be out and about, take nice pictures and meet like minded people who enjoy the natural world.
