Thank you for visiting.
I've used everything from DSLRs to a plastic Holga camera. But I've decided to travel light for awhile. I got rid of everything except for a Panasonic Lumix LX5 and a pinhole camera that I made from scratch (f/140).
I live in Northeastern Ohio (U.S.) and work as a magazine editor.

Aside from his photography (which I'll get to in a minute), he brings a piece of himself to flickr every time he visits and is one of those people who make it feel like a real community to me. Unlike other online communities, where flame wars abound, flickr is a friendly place to be b/c of Darren and others like him.
Now, his photos! He often surprises me with new techniques and shooting styles, just when I think I can recognize one of his photos, a new style comes up and blows me away. His recent shots evoke such a visceral nostalgia in me, that I often take a few full minutes just looking and them and remembering wonderful things from my childhood.
