the body types represented both hold a topographical interest for me in respect to form and comment on the commercialization of the ideal female image that is neither real nor attainable...anyone who has stripped a Barbie knows what a dreadful bore that can be...


Without line, all is lost...

Art can no more exist without line than a balloon can exist without a breath of air.

Think of a sad and flaccid balloon deflated and lying in its own misery and find no joy in it.

Defined by a volume of air it stands in sharp relief against the sky and is wonderful.

Prove to me that I am wrong and I will eat my weight in balloons.


a drawing is a reaction against or a response to, the image at hand or the suggestion or the memory of the thought of the image...

drawing is to art as the bicycle is to conveyance...only a purist would chose this vehicle...

i once opened a box of Good and Plenty's and found only White ones ...
