A picture might be worth a thousand words, but to me a pictures worth is in the memories they conjure up.

Flickr acts as a visual diary of my life and experience. With life getting in the way of living, I often find myself clicking through my own pages, or watching a slideshow of images in chronological order in Lightroom so I remember my experience in life, as well as the people that make it enjoyable and memorable.

I hope to accomplish this in my commissioned works as well.
When the couple that let me capture the fleeting moments of their wedding day look back twenty or thirty years, i want them to remember. I want them to smile. I want them to laugh.

An image should provide a gateway into a fleeting moment, that lasts only a few seconds tops, and immortalize that moment. Otherwise, why take a picture?
