Some of my images can be licensed via Getty Images but please contact me if you would like to inquire about a commercial license for any of my other images. Most of my images are available on a Creative Commons non-commercial, attribution, no derivatives license meaning you can use them in non-commercial projects (i.e. a project where no money changes hands) as long as you credit me as the copyright owner. If you would like a version without the watermark, just drop me a note.

I'm a Scottish software engineer now living in Austin, Texas. When not writing code, I am a keen amateur photographer and Photoshop junkie. With a young family, however, most of my photography occurs on business trips or occasional "photography days".

My photographic interests span a wide spectrum. Most of my favourite images stress bold shapes and high contrast or high saturation but recently I have been spending more time on macro and HDR work.





I am also an active participant in the PC(USA) Mission Presbytery Guatemala Partnership and work to raise awareness of and funds for social programs in Guatemala.
