I have developed a few tricks & I custom mix my paints & varnishes to create one of a kind works with color & blends unlike anything else. Davini's abstract work has an existential quality that challenges and lures the viewer into searching for relationships that may elucidate or deny the unexplainable. The bold use of color, a Davini staple, suggests a simplicity and immediacy that evokes trust and a sense of knowing the artist. Within the apparent forthrightness of his work, particularly his lavish flower paintings, there lies a sophistication and mystery that retains viewer interest over time.
