Old enough to have been in the same relationship for more than thirty years!

I carry a camera with me most of the time recording life as I see it. I used to have a Nikon Coolpix S1 which broke in July 2008, since substituted with an excellent Panasonic DMC-TZ5. Most of the time I have used a Canon EOS 350D and when I don't have a camera I find that my Apple iPhone 3GS works as a (just about) adequate substitute.

I take many photos of friends but, in order to be careful of possibly offending them, I make them private.

I've found most of the pictures I've seen on Flickr inspirational and I've learnt a lot from them and the photographers who've given their advice freely - thank you!
