I recently blew the last of my savings on a used digital SLR camera: a Pentax ist DL and a 28-80mm lens and decided to pursue my lifelong interest in photography that was rotting away on the backburner. I haven't looked back. That day was June 5th-ish.

I admire: David LaChapelle, Steven Meisel, Peter Rauhofer, Patrick Demarchelier, John Ricard, Tom Ford, Mario Testino, Annie Leibovits, Joseph Kahn, and the beat goes on.

Photography-wise, I'm looking to accomplish several objectives:

1. Bring out the best of people in their shots.
2. Bring out a different side of people.
3. Learn as much as I can about this wonderful craft.

Looking at the big picture, I'd say my dream is to be involved in pop photography and to get involved directing music videos. I think I have a handful of decent ideas. I'd love to be based out of the Big Apple and travel the world honing my craft.
