I'm an older guy who is retired and living in Richmond, Virginia . I love photography and woodworking. I have a lovely wife, Beth. She and I take care of our three dogs in our home. All of our five children are grown. And we have six grandchildren.
My other love on par with photography is poetry. I write it and read it. You can find a collection of my own poems below on my blog Virginia Breeze. Also I have just started another blog containing just my favorite photos from Flickr called My Foto Buzz.

Right now I am in the process of organizing about 20K photos. Most of them are in a jumble on my Picasa2 file system. And the ones worth keeping are coming here. It's much easier to sort them out here.
So this is my workspace. I'm working things out here and appreciate any suggestions that may come my way.

I have been taking photos for about a year (since June 07) and now feel there is much beauty around that I was missing.
