I think hard and try to remember when my passion for photography began, and I go as far as finding myself "borrowing" my mom's Kodak 110mm camera to take snapshots of anything and anywhere I could. During my teen years, and after a lot of begging, I finally got a Kodak Disk, which I found to be a lot of fun.

On the early 90's I got to work at a magazine, Holiday Magazine, saved what to me was then a fortune, and bought my first SLR, a Minolta X-700. I have no words to describe how much fun I had. I experimented with B&W and color, developed my own B&W photos, tried all sorts of camera gadgets, etc. I gained a solid five year experience in portrait and photojournalism.

There was a substantial hiatus from the time I stopped taking pictures with my old SLR to the time I started again with my dSLR. It seems that it's a whole new ball game, but the foundations are still the same, and I still love it.
