broke grandad's box brownie trying to figure out how it worked. bought a bakelite kodak from a jumble sale. jumped in with a Pentax MX in 1981, then a Z1 in 1994, then went digital in 2005. Started with a Samsung GS1 and then found joy in a Canon G9. recently splashed out on a Pentax K20D. the kids have Konica digitals which I sometimes steal and play with. have photoshop, but can't be bothered. believe in nature, real light, a steady hand and being lucky. which mostly means carrying a camera all the time. finally splashed out on a decent tripod (manfrotto) and some reflectors so might even try some still life this year
