Happy man with a wonderful family I love all forms of photography.
QUICK NOTE before the positive stuff: If you cant be honest about who you are on Flickr please don't add or keep me as a contact or communicate with me.

As with most on Flickr if it exists I will try and photograph it.

The beauty of the moment is my main desire. If that makes sense to you then we are on the same page of life's book.

I'm always looking for the unexpected. Things I've never seen before or looked at in that light.

I quote from Edward Weston. "My main desire is to clearly express my feeling for life with photographic beauty, present objectively the texture, rhythm, form in nature, without subterfuge or evasion in technique or spirit, to record the quintessence of the object or element before my lens, rather than an interpretation, a superficial phase, or passing mood—this is my way in photography. It is not an easy way."

Just a few of the people who inspire me: Edward Weston, Don McCullin, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Mappelthorpe, Ansel Adams.

Not that it matters....I use Canon G9,50D, 5D, 7D and 1D with various L series lenses and a mix of others. Also a lot of other photographers 'stuff' I.E. filters, adapters, lights, reflectors, stands, flash guns,power packs.......
Canon was not chosen as a preference over Nikon.........

This is the FUN AREA for me as i do take photographs professionally so don't expect to much in the way of serious colour balanced,composition,crop comparison, level horizon,ND filter, polariser, FP, DOF, BOKing flippin discussion from me. The technical aspects of a picture when assessed correctly are ridiculous and impossible to do correctly on flicker. If you have a stunning photograph it will speak for itself regardless of the mind numbing discussion and rhetoric many undertake. I do admit to doing this on the odd occasion but only for my most long standing and valued Flicker friends.
