Due to the high readership of the main site (Strobist.com) it is not possible for me to answer one-on-one questions via Flickrmail or email. If you have an issue with the Strobist group on Flickr, you can always post a thread on that discussion board about your concern.

But please consider just taking a breath and adopting a live-and-let-live approach. It is a very large and public group and there are sure to be people in the group with sensitivities different than your own.

If you have a gear, technical or how-to question, please ask it in the Strobist Flickr group, where you'll get faster, better and more diverse answers. Again, due to the traffic volume of the site, I can no longer do one-on-one lighting/photo/portfolio/etc. questions via email.

If I did, I would be emailing all night, every night, instead of seeing my family. As it is I spend about way too many hours a day *just* on email. I am trying to reduce that time. Thanks for understanding.

One last thing. Given that my photos garner lots of views (because of the site, not 'cause they are anything special) a ridiculous number of people use this as an opportunity to invite pretty much everything I shoot to some group. In most cases it is an attempt to raise a particular group's visibility.

I used to spend a lot of time declining and deleting all of the invites but now I just block those people to maintain my sanity. If you got caught up in this, sorry. But it has been a tremendous help to me in the "repeat offender" category.
