I'm employed by Microsoft! It's a fabulous, progressive company, and I dig working there. I worked in Madrid, Spain with the company from June 2006 to June 2008. I am learning about photography bit by bit, mostly by just wandering around with my camera while traveling with my family or when I have free time on a business trip. I snap lots and lots of shots and hope a few come out well. I have used a Canon 10D, 30D and now a 40D with various lenses. I also had a Canon PowerShot G7 so I could lighten my load sometimes, especially on work trips. Unfortunately, it was stolen by baggage handlers from either British airways or Iberia on a flight from Seattle through Heathrow and back to Madrid. I'm noticing that a higher percentage of my shots are looking good these days. Still, I edit my favorties with Photoshop. It's amazing how a curve, saturation adjustment, and a crop can turn an average shot into a great one.

I use a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license on all my photos, so anyone can use them for free. I've been especially pleased to have a number of shots published recently. I've started to get model releases for some of my portraits, as well.
