I've only recently become hooked on photography. While I've always enjoyed it, ever since I got my first SLR (a Zenit) back in the 1980s, I never took it that seriously. Now, having recently acquired a Canon EOS 400D, I'm hooked.

I can't say that I'm "going" anywhere in terms of photography at the moment - I'm still trying to get a feel for everything. What I do know is that if I go a couple of days without shooting I start to feel a physical withdrawal. I think that's a good thing.

My other main interests are amateur astronomy and running a personal weather station.
