Dave Parkinson is an experimental sound artist and musician from Toronto.

Over the years Dave has composed hours of experimental music and spoken word entertainment, as well as political satire and other forms of amusement.

Dave was using tape loops and cassette manipulations all throughout the eighties long before electronic sampling and computer editing became the norm in experimental sound art.

More recently some of Dave Parkinson's "Music" demos from the early 1990's have resurfaced as experimental music videos in 2007, and more of these never released music demos can be expected to emerge in some form or another in video format throughout 2010, as more works are converted to digital format.

The later recordings are actual attempts at music as opposed to the earlier experimental soundscapes or tape manipulations, and were recorded in the 1990's with musical instrumentation and accompanying vocals.

In 2010 Dave Parkinson is in the studio once again recording new material as well as re-recording and completing some of the older unfinished demos.
