  "The flickr world is all the better for having Dave in it. He is obviously a talented and creative photographer with a sharp eye for composition, texture, light and french women. But what often goes unnoticed are his countless other talents.
  
  For example, he handcrafts fine cheeses (if you've never had his barrel-aged applewood gouda, you're really missing out) and cobbles wooden clogs in the traditional Dutch style. A five-time European motorcross champion, he held the post of mayor of Donegal unopposed for twelve years until stepping down in 2002 to pursue his true passion, sumo wrestling.
