Years ago amateur photography was my big hobby: a Canon T90, four lenses, professional tripod, more filters than I'd had hot dinners. Then the expense meant I stopped. Especially when I married and had children. But when I left my last ministry appointment the churches were more than generous with leaving gifts. I bought a Nikon D50 with an 18-55 mm lens and a Sigma 55-200. Now all I need to do is find the time - and lug around the gear at the same time as helping my wife carry everything we need for our two small monkeys.
