I now live and work as a photographer in East London.

The work I'm showing on flickr is mostly from Liverpool, I started taking photos in the late '70's while studying art at Liverpool Poly. I travelled around Britain in the '80's and I was the Militant newspaper staff photographer from '85 to '90. I was then a Liverpool based freelancer till 2000.
I've been staff photographer for Tower Hamlets Council for the last 10 years.

I'm planning to publish a book of the Liverpool photos soon.

I have thousands more to scan and put on flickr, hope you like what you see and feel free to comment, add names (particulary the Dockers) and locations.

I've only recently become aware that loads of the photos have a disgusting sepia or green tinge, this is because some are from old prints, new prints and some are from negs, I've clearly messed up all my colour balance thingy whatever? I can only apologise and try and correct them all one by one, which will take ages.

I'm refusing all future requests for free photos except ones I ask to be involved with. NUJ rates are not high, just price them into your costings.
