My current hobby is photography (since 2001), although I have had many other hobbies in the past, so we'll have to see if photography is just a fad or something that sticks with me!
I'm the sort of guy who chucks himself into his interests and I tend to burn out fairly quickly, but photography seems to be sticking so far. I like to take pictures of anything and everything, although I like to try and express some sort of creativity in taking pictures. I have a background in the design industry so I feel the need to do something creative!
I have a family - Joanna my wife and three young children Elliott, Emily and Holly - who often get used as my photographic subjects! I find I have very little time for travel, so my photography is mainly around the house and local area. I enjoy macro photography a lot. Finding details that you can't see easily with your eyes is really satisfying!
I currently work as a web developer (designer / programmer/ video editor / music producer ...you name it!) and I enjoy the variety in my job.
