I enjoy photography, learning, experimenting with lights, colors and action! yet I do not call myself a photographer. I will leave that to the professionals. Still, I am enjoying Flickr for all it has to offer in online friendships and creative inspiration. My all time favorite thing to do is create illustrations/images using Fireworks and/or Illustrator. I've spent entire Saturdays, hours upon hours (my family and friends don't understand it until I compare it to something they feel passionate about) sitting at my desk drawing. I'm partial to faces - eyes and lips. You will notice.
I've been reading since I learned how to read. At one point, it was somewhat of an obsession (when I first started to learn to read that is). I'd read signs and bill boards and EVERYTHING. It nearly drove me mad as a kid! I guess that was just my love, for reading, taking over. I will make time to read a book when there is no time - but there's always time to do what you REALLY want to do. Right?
Which brings me to another thing, I love writing. I've written an e-novel as well as a full novel, and I was able to design the cover. Currently, I'm working on another writing project. This will take some time because I'm doing a bit of research.

"Writing about darnib concerns me. Sometimes I am desperate to find the right things to say, all the while knowing I will not succeed.
Darnib's photostream is a treasure. It is a window into creativity, beauty, and humanity. Artisty seems to be the ether that flows in, through, and about darnib. Fafi art transforms her into an icon more powerful than a mistletoe. Oh, how I long to kiss my wife for long minutes when I see that picture. Darnib can decide to make a sketch and include whimsical elements in a mere afternoon. I marvel not only at her creating something new, but her doing it in a way that no other can. A river she sees is not brown or muddy, but caramel. I so want to see the world her way.
Beauty dominates her stream. Whether it is her art, something she has seen, or something she thinks.
And she is willing to share her thoughts. The fact is that coffee to her is time with family. The fact is that a certain perfume is her grandmother. It is a world so connected in ways that I seem to be missing. I marvel at it. I wonder and hope that some of her connectedness will awaken me to like abilities.
