Every day is a learning experience. I'm not the same person I was 7 years ago; every cell has been renewed.

I'm currently in the midst of a metamorphosis. I'm not sure what will emerge when I break open this chrysalis. I'm in a transitory place, connecting where I've been to where I'm going, but there's not expectation of lingering.

This is neither my first nor my last. I have a cat and a car and a deck of playing cards. I have pens. I have a camera and an eye. I can't say I don't understand fear; however, I have none of my own. A gargoyle watches over me. He looks like he's reading a book. He's not.



I write fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror: fairy tales and ghost stories. I don't get in enough play. I'm easily distracted. I set long-term goals and meet them. How else could I write books? I don't play many video games because I'm too easily addicted. I like chocolate way too much.



I believe in the following philosophies:

It's all fun and games until someone gets eaten alive by a tiger shark.

Go everywhere. Do everything.

I'd rather regret what I did than what I didn't.
