Darius J. Brown for Wilmington City Council At Large

Darius J. Brown is Wilmington born and Wilmington bred; a lifetime Wilmingtonian. Darius received his early education in Delaware Public Schools within the Christina School District. He attended Howard High School concentrating in the Public Service career area, Delaware Technical & Community College earning a Paralegal Certificate and Delaware State University majoring in Political Science.

Darius was the founding president of the Delaware State University College Democrats and has been involved in the political campaigns of Gubernatorial candidates in Delaware and New Jersey, statewide candidates throughout Delaware, Congressional campaigns in Tennessee, and Wilmington City Council elections.

Darius began his career as a Community Activist working for Delaware ACORN. His commitment to public service led him to the capital of our state, as an aide in the Delaware State Legislature to State Senator Margaret Rose Henry. Darius furthered his efforts to influence urban policy by working on the staff of United States Senator Joe Biden as a Project Assistant overseeing Fifteen Project Areas, Federal Grants, and Special Policy Initiatives.
