I am a clinical psychologist and have a "general practitioner" practice in a suburb of Sacramento, CA. I like to work with a variety of adult clients and often serve as a starting point for those persons who know something is not right, but don't know where to begin in addressing their issue.

My mission as a psychologist is to help adults who struggle with unpleasant or even painful experiences or relationships and have not been able to resolve them on their own. I help these people feel better about themselves, their lives, and their relationships. I help people understand what other resources are available and what they do.

I also like to write. I may not be a good writer, but I enjoy it nevertheless. Much of my writing focuses on therapy and "the life well led," so to speak. I tend to be "slightly irreverent" in my writings and my thinking, as I seem to have developed a pretty good "built-in bullshit detector," as Ernest Hemingway used to say (before he blew his brains out).
