A biological oceanographer by profession, I live in Brittany and got my first SLR camera in 1972... I travelled through India in 1973 when I was 19 and never stopped since then.

Countries where I traveled
- India, Nepal and Sri Lanka in 1973 and 1974 (see my set)
- China in 1974 (at the end of the cultural revolution)
and 1986 (oceanographic cruise and then from Beijing to Urumqui by train)
- Indonesia in 1978 (three months through Java, Bali and the south part of Sumatra)
- Lived in the US various places (Cambridge, Hawaii and Stanford)
and hiked Yellowstone and Glacier National Park
- Vietnam in 1989 (see my set)
- Morocco hiking in the Atlas with my family (1996, 1997 and 2002) including climbing the Mgoun
- Mauritania hike in the desert
- Back to Nepal in 2001 with the family (see my set)
- Thailand in 2004 (see my set)
- Madagascar in 2005 (see my set)
- Back to Vietnam in summer of 2006 and feb 2008 (see my set)
- Back fascinating Indonesia in April 2007 (see my set)
- Iceland and the Faroe island from France by car and ship (see my set)
- Japan, Tokyo for three months in spring 2008
- Sardinia, taking the sun in summer 2008
- Malaysia for some fascinating diving in dec 2008
- Vietnam, twice in a row in feb 2008
- And then small trips here and there (Europe, Japan, Chile, Mexico...).
