I love my DSLR and lenses, but I also love the freedom of shooting with a compact digital camera, ultra-compact digital camera, and my cameraphone. Tools are indispensable, but so are vision and skill, two attributes I enjoy the challenge of continually improving. My photostream is varied. Sure it's a boost to take professional-quality photos, but it's also a kick to be spontaneous and take snapshots wherever, whenever, with whatever. I like to keep photography fun.
I filter my content. I have nothing against nudity; however, if your account is mainly porn and you add me as a contact, I will block you.

"I think Daniel is very good at taking pictures 'out of the box'. He goes out there and thinks to himself - I'm going to try 'this' and wants to understand everything he can about 'this', when he can use 'this' and then adds 'this' to his knowledgebase. So when he's applying something - he does it in a large variety of ways instead of just taking people's advice. That thinking, along with learning how to apply the funtions of his XTi are definitely worth watching. I'm looking forward to his application of 'that' pretty soon."
