-artist's statement-

Object, physical statement. Lets throw that shit out the window. Did we lose touch with the thought of art for arts sake? Must it place itself inside suburban homes and/or prestigious museums for one to call it art? Must we attach a theory or relative idea to it for one to accept it as acceptable? Not to say that we can't have idea and thought about our work. In fact without that thought we would stay stagnant and never change, and we certainly don't want that. But on the other hand an over-analysis takes the fun out of everything doesn't it? Can't we have some mystery? Can't we? Pleeeeease?? One modest young artist I spent some time with said this when asked what his work was about. " I do what I do." And this is exactly where I stand. Take it for what is is. Maybe you can tell me about it.
