I am an Interior Designer / Photographer, world citizen, happy peaceful human being, who enjoys taking on an array of project types. I have a degree in interior design and art. I welcome any challenge that provoke my creative thought. I began photographing about 10 years ago, and soon became captivated by the craft as a means of articulating my innermost emotions. Since that time, I have developed a particular interest in macro photography, portraiture and digital art. Art is not about the tools used to create it. It is about the vision, message, or emotion of the artist. My frecuent international travel, served as an excellent opportunity to be inspired by great works of art in the scores of galleries and museums visited. My later influences came not only from photographers, but from artists of all mediums.

Photography is also a marvelous mid-life accessory. Like a kid on a field trip, I slip a camera into my backpack and off I go, looking under rocks and crossing creeks to find another window into the world.
More than anything else, photography keeps me reaching. It is a constant game, a relentless search for who kicked the can if you know what I mean.

My lifelong passion for our natural world motivates me to create images that I hope you will find emotive and inspiring. I hope my images will inspire you, to get closer to nature, capture its beauty and enjoy its peace and tranquility.

Here you will find updates on my latest photography adventures.

A big THANKS in advance to YOU guys for viewing and commenting on my work, it’s greatly appreciated :-)

The human spirit is not dead. It lives on in secret.... It has come to believe that compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to mankind. -Albert Schweitzer, Novel Peace Prize "The Problem of Peace in the World Today"

"I have spent a lot of time gazing at Dania’s flower set. It is an activity that inspires me. Dania’s flowers are the delicious flavors of beauty. They are the perfect examples of color, lighting, and the other elements of design. Her flowers are lessons for long discussions.

I have learned so much from exploring Dania’s photostream.

It has been said that artists borrow and steal ideas from other artists. I admit, I have borrowed a few ideas from Dania, but not without giving her credit. She is my friend and an artist with amazing talent that inspires me to become better and better in what I do.

Thank you for your amazing talent.

    Janet Sipl says:

"Charles Dickens once said “Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own.” Likewise, Dania gives to all who view her work an engaging source of never-ending visual stimulation and inspiration. Her artistry reflects a love of photography that is only surpassed by her love of life. It is an honor to call her friend and peer. You will never regret any time spent on her photostream."
