    ~ Liberty Images says:

"Dania's peregrinations seem driven by a desire to find both the old, to capture and share it with others as well as document its existence, but she has a terrific eye for the quirky, the outright funny, and sometimes the melancholy. Regardless of what she brings to us, though, it's always with her own unique perspective, and not infrequently her images really cause one to stop and think, to wonder, and to reflect on our world at large and those who share it with us. She also has a real artistic flair (though she doesn't seem to trust it just yet, tsk tsk!) that stuns when she's brave enough to unleash it and share it with us. Her stream never fails to be enjoyable!"

"Dania is one photographer who could make a living from her craft. She has a wonderful talent for capturing the best of Ohio. Her shots are always well framed, optimally lit and of fascinating subjects. (Plus now and then she delights and tempts us with photos of mouth-watering home baked treats!) A loyal contact always, Dania makes the effort to drop by and say "hello." An A+ Flickrer!"

"Dania has this magic about her - her photos never fail to give me wanderlust....she has an incredible eye and an admirable love for documenting beautiful fading things and places....from corner to corner she takes us and we wait with baited eyes. A true asset as a photographer and a heck of a good person. She adds great spirit to Flickr."

    John Mark van Rozendaal says:

"The landscape of middle America is made poignant by decaying artifacts of our parents' and grandparents' disappointed hopes, dreams, and ambitions.
Dania_H has sensetive eye for these aging emblems of loss, failure, and the passage of time, presenting them with directness, respect, skill, and pleasure colored by only the most delicate shades of irony. Her images assembled here are for me one of the most moving tributes to "common" men and women I have seen.

Here we see "The Greatest Generation" without pomp and puffery; the heroes of Norman Rockwell with their kinks restored; "Forrest Gump" wiitout the historical revisionism and right-wing agenda; "Little Miss Sunshine" without the broad, old jokes (nothing against, old jokes, they are the best). I've always wanted to see this."

    Greg Gladman says:

"Dania's photos run the gamut from spooky and macabre to quaint and nostalgic. She finds new ways of looking at everyday surroundings that most people simply pass by, which is really the essence of being a photographer. And as an ex-Ohioan, I always look forward to seeing which corner of the state she'll go exploring next."

"Since I joined Flickr in June 2006 I've noticed Dania H's Great Photo Documentation work. She is one of the Flickerites who seem to be out there every day doing the important captures (At least to me and other deranged collectors of the Old and Forgotten Places, Faces, and Signs of America)

"Dania takes awesome photographs that depict the dark underbelly of the midwest, and are sometimes eerie."
