Born and brought up in Hong Kong, I have always had a great interest in the green nature since I was a child. During every childhood trip to the city parks or countryside, I would spend hours inspecting the creations of Mother Nature while other childern prefered running around or playing ball games.

I spent my university years in Ireland, where I studied computer science and took botany as a minor subject for my degree. I started travelling on my own in the western Europe during summer vacations, and took cycling tours all over Ireland, England and Scotland, seeing the cultural and architectural marvels of the West, and at the same time having a chance to visit the national parks and the great natue of those countries.

After obtaining my master degree in University College Dublin, I returned to Hong Kong to start working in the I.T. field, and continues to spend my leisure time exploring the mountains, streams and the outlying islands of Hong Kong. Like many of the nature-lovers, I am very keen on capturing the beauty and spectacles of nature on film, including the ever changing moods and seasonal colours of the wild.

I had also made regular mountaineering and trekking trips to the Mainland China as well as other parts of the world, such as the Nepalese Himalayas, the Malaysian Sabah, the South Island of New Zealand, Japan, the Canadian Rockies, and many of the national parks in the United States.

I am currently a member of the local World Wild Fund for Nature, and the committee member of a local amateur hiking club.
