I'm a writer, cat lover and "country mouse;" I live in a small town in rural Maine, where I'm working with my family to rebuild this place into what it once was--a small farm.

I've been a newspaper copy editor, a website and e-learning content producer, a graphic designer, and a retail sales clerk, among many other things. After a midlife career change--from accidental job-taking that somehow led to an accumulation of skills to work that is in line with my values and ethics and gives me joy--I now work in communications and marketing for a philanthropic organization; it's a job I love for an organization whose values are close to my heart.
