Damian Profeta is Argentinean.

Currently he is the TakingITGlobal's Latin America & Caribbean Regional Coordinator.

At the age of 19, Damian founded the Vientos del Sur Association and from 2002 to 2005 he was its Executive Director.

Damian's experience includes developing and driving social youth projects related to participation, empowerment and social inclusion.

He worked as advisor and senior consultant in many governmental areas and social programs.

Damian has been actively seeking to increase youth participation in national & local decision-making.

Damian was selected as one of the ten youth awarded with the "Top Outstanding Young Persons of Argentina Award 2005" -TOYP
