Years ago I started taking pictures of what I was wearing.
This came from my need to catalog things so they wouldn't be forever lost and forgotten. It's the same feeling that makes me keep a diary & write down every film I see, book I read, show I go to etc, since the age of 13.
But I never did anything with the pictures.
Then in May 2009 I got a twitter account & started posting on my twitpic what I called my #dailywear: pictures taken with my cell phone & a frequent cause to me being late for work!
Because people were seeing the pictures I naturally tried not to repeat the outfits, until this became a conscious challenge to never repeat the same combination of clothes & accessories twice.
Over 200 outfits later, I'm still keeping up with the challenge (come on, changing shoes does turn it into a different outfit!).
I'm not sure how long that will last, but taking pictures of what I wear has been part of my routine for a long time and now that I got used to posting them, I don't see myself stopping any time soon.
So... I am transfering my twitpic pics here, and will post on Flickr from now on.
