this is the story that i pretty much base my art and my life on if you were curious:
my great uncle was a successful engineer. he worked for PG&E. he was in a really high position and he started drinking a lot, then he got fired and divorced. he moved back to santa maria and i spent a lot of time with him cuz he moved in with my great aunt (his sister) and i was always over there. he taught me a lot and i was really close to him. he was like a 2nd father to me. but he started getting really bad. my great grandma died. and he only got worse. he would drink vodka by the bottle daily just locked up in his room. my aunt noticed he hadn't come out in a while and his door was locked so she had to call a friend to break open the door and he was laying on the floor next to his bed, dead. he is one of the biggest inspirations for my work and everything i do. it really hit me hard but now i use it for good.
