I bought my D-SLR in Jan 2008, an Olympus e-510, my first proper camera and I am enjoying the learning curve. Nowadays my camera is getting old and has a habit of changing modes without any controls being switched. Home is Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, where many of my photos are taken. Saying that, there are quite a few shots taken during my travels. These are mainly from around the UK as well as France and Spain.

    Not to be boring but I must mention his technical skill. He uses an Olympus E510 which is a underrated but capable camera. As a fellow Olympus user I am aware of the limitations of the 4/3rd sized sensor, namely dynamic range and high iso use. Dave makes you feel he is using medium format, such is the range he captures and perfect, each and every time exposure.

    All this technical skill would be for nothing without his eye for composition. He sees the world like a film and I enjoy seeing each ‘frame’."
