Do you ever wonder about the person with whom you trade? I suspect most do, so I’ll share a little about myself.

Basically, I’m just the biggest kid in the sandbox who loves to cut and paste and has a few computer skills. I am NOT an "artist" by training. However, I love color and design, and have some fairly decent photography skills. In March of this year, I came across an article by Seena Frost on an art/transformational process she calls "SoulCollage," and I was immediately drawn to it. In June I attended a weekend workshop at the U of N Ky and changed from SoulCollage to creating little ATCs.

Collage has opened a whole new world for me and I love experimenting with it on the computer. I see my computer’ screen as akin to the lithographer's stone from which prints are pulled, numbered and signed. I usually print 3 of each card I make, keeping one and trading the other two.

I retired from teaching in 1995 after 33 years, and moved to North Carolina 6 years ago from New Jersey where I’d lived most of my life growing up, teaching school, and raising my large family, now all independent and competent adults. I am also the proud Nana of Michael, almost 4, and Andrew, 1, born to daughter Emilie, adopted from Korea at age 3 ½. I am also the resident staff for my three cats---Boyd, Linus, and Lizzie.

I addition to teaching, I also wore many hats in the world of international adoption, started an adoption agency, wrote a couple of books and published a magazine on the topic, and continue to do freelance editing if the project appeals to me.
