"I don't think I have ever seen a photographer who captures the essence of things better than C.V. Dusty. His automotive shots are brilliant, especially the close up/detail work he does so well. His aviation shots are brilliant! I am still in awe of the shots he took at the Watsonville fly-in. Dusty is an excellent out of the box thinker, and is able to photograph some of the most mundane subjects in ways that make the viewer's jaw drop. Perhaps my favorite picture of his is of a blue Aeronca 15AC...although a good looking airplane in its own right, Dusty brought out the heart of this machine, and made it seem more like a living, breathing animal than a machine of aluminum and fabric. My hat is off to this man for creating some truly great images."
