I've been shooting pictures for about 10 years. Prior to that, I wasn't very interested in photography, due in part to the fact that I'd only used a 110. Once I started in school, I abandoned my primitive digital camera for 35mm, and didn't really mess with digital again until 2003. I shoot digital and film interchangeably now.

Due to poor rule following all of my old photos have been marked restricted. I may re-moderate these as necessary, but I'm more interested in moving forward than looking back.

I'm here to have a good time, meet other photographers, models and make friends. When I joined Flickr, it was a wonderful community of creative types. It's full of all types of people now, for better or worse. I think the old core that I used to love so much is still there, and I want to get back into enjoying Flickr, as opposed to being annoyed by the annoying new people.


I am a freelance phototographer/photojournalist for the likes of Professional Photographer Magazine, Dvice, Gizmodo, Fleshbot and Jalopnik. Motivator: Fun for making (de)motivational posters like the ones on www.Despair.com
BetterFlickr: a Firefox plugin that adds a number of handy controls like a photo magnifier and a name reply option.
Add Referrer Info: Handy little Firefox/Greasemonkey script that automatically adds a little tag to your comment letting others know where it was that you saw their photo. Handy for commenting on pics from groups.
