In the meanwhile, I travel (move around to be more precise) with my camera and my tripod (almost) always in tow ... I am not a professional photographer; in fact, am quite happy with my image-stabilized portable Digital Ixus or the newer Lumix. My father has recently tried to upgrade me to Digital EOS but then again it's kind of difficult to haul this monster camera around so I still think that my best pictures have always been taken using the portable cams ...
