"Oh, man! I love old trucks with the desert patina of the Southwest. I love old buses turned into Kudzu Topiary in the Southeast. But if I'd known these moss and fern-covered gems existed when I was in the Northwest, I would've become hopelessly addicted to photographing them, the same way I'm addicted to c.updegrave's incredible photographs! What nature does to the abandoned relics of Detroit's heyday, c.updegrave's eye behind the camera turns into pure art."
