Welcome!
Photography is an important hobby of mine and I enjoying being able to share my photos with others. My favorite subject is people, especially children. I have a small studio set up where I take portraits of family & friends.
I shoot with a Nikon D300 and often use my Panasonic LX3 for family snapshots and video. My usual lenses for studio portraits are Tamron 17-50 2.8 & Nikon 85 1.4. Outside the studio, available light shots are most often done with my Nikon 85 1.4 & Sigma 30 1.4 both at 1.4. I love the thin DoF they produce when used wide open.
When I'm not taking photos or playing with my daughters, I enjoy art & plein air painting especially in Paris, and also writing and traveling. My dream job would be to document my travels in both photos and paintings.
