Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes communication design in central Ohio and fosters a better understanding of the context and function of the visual, written, and interactive arts in commerce, industry, education, and the community.

Established in 1970, CSCA provides educational and networking opportunities for professionals and students alike. Members include art directors, graphic designers, digital designers, photographers, writers, illustrators, production specialists, and others in the field. Programming includes monthly lectures by internationally recognized leaders in design, strategy, and other marketing disciplines.

CSCA’s annual Creative Best competition is a showcase for the region’s best professional and student work, and is judged by a CSCA guest lecturers who return to Columbus for the privilege to select the winners. The awards presentation is a major event attended by hundreds of guests.
