Freelance photographer working in Colorado's beautiful Front Range, specializing in action with a creative photojournalistic approach, my preference is to use natural light with external flashes to fill shadows.

I would be thrilled to cover your wedding, party or other event. Portraits; including senior photos, family photos and head shots, action photos; sports, including snowboarding; I can follow you on my own snowboard, or wait for you next to a jump. I specialize in medieval swordfighting battles and roller derby bouts. I am WFTDA insured, so I can skate alongside you. I'm an "on location" photographer. I'll take pictures of anything within reason, just ask! (I’d love to take pictures of you jumping out of a plane!)


25 total years of photo taking experience. I absolutely love photography. It's been a passion of mine all my life. My Grandmother gave me my first camera, a Kodak 110, on my 9th birthday. In my teenage years I took thousands of pictures with 35mm point and shoots. I finally got a "real" camera, a film SLR, in my 20's. I began dabbling in digital photography in 1999. I now use Nikon DSLR's. Studied Photography at the Art Insitute of Colorado in Denver.

Every customer receives a CD of their images so that they can make as many copies of their photos as they wish, and/or use them on social networking sites. I can enhance your favorite pictures in Adobe Lightroom 3.3 and Photoshop CS5. Wedding customers get a free engagement photo package.

My kit includes a Nikon D700 & D300s, two external flash units, many different lenses, diffusers, and filters, low apertures for shallow depth of field, tools for artistic shots; Lensbaby, Fisheye, and colored gels.
