I'm 25. I'm a human rights activist and blogger (caraobrien.tumblr.com).

I'm happily married and I live in Michigan, but I'm a North Carolina/Florida transplant. Moving here taught me one thing: I hate cold weather with a passion. I want to move back south and bask in the humidity.

I write, though not as much as I should. I don't read as much as I used to because my human rights activity has kept me pretty busy lately. I wish I knew more about photography; it's always been on my list of things I really ought to do in life. I just haven't found the time.

I have a Nikon d40, but very little clue how to use it. I hope to remedy this at some point.
