I have found great interest in amateur photography over the last seven years. I wish I had not waited so long to start capturing my life. I shot casually with a Nikon 6006 during the period of 1998 and 2004. In 2004, after becoming serious about photograpghy, I bought a Nikon D70. I took an 8 week class at the Cleveland photographic society to get up to speed. I also caught several Nikon seminars presented locally. I have read as many books as possible, and roamed flikr looking at images, reading discussions, and participating as much as possible.

Until most recently, many of my sets included images of my children. Many of these images I must say are really good. However, due to the amount of FAKES visiting Flikr and using these child images on their Orkut pages, and many others with nothing more than disgusting intentions, I have changed permissions on 95% of those images.
You must be friend, family, or contact to view my stream entirely. Contacts still won't have all the permissions until I see your work, and determine that you are indeed a good honest person with similar interests.

My wife and I used to travel extensively. We enjoyed cruises, and have sailed around 12 times in our time together. We also have roots in Central Florida. We have a son, 7 years old, and a daughter almost a year old now. Since raising a family, and the poor state of the US economy, we have not traveled in several years. Most of my travel images are older and from a time when I was just learning how to use a camera. Not all of the images are good quality, but they are something for me to look back and build upon.
Hopefully the future brings opportunities to see the world again, and capture its beauty once more.

My current camera of choice is a Nikon D80. I use a Nikkor 18-200 f5.6 lens as my daily driver, and recently aquired a Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, and a Tokina 11-16 f2.8 wide angle. I only have one flash used for CLS, and it is a Nikon SB600.

Sadly I am currently layed off due to downsizing.
This does give me a bit more time to photoshoot, but little opportunity to travel.

All of my images have been down sized to 1024x768, reduced in pixel size, and watermarked.
