When I began photographing in May 2006, I didn't know what way I'll go, had no idea what to kind of motifs I prefer, no experience in photographing.
I just wanted to go out of my 4 walls to see the world with new eyes.
I bought an analog NIKON F-801 and some lenses and began - like a child finding it's feet....

Meanwhile some things have changed:
- I have a little be more experience
- I use a NIKON D-300
- I use:
  · TAMRON 17-50/2.8 XR Di-II
  · TAMRON 28-75/2.8 XR Di
  · TOKINA 100/2.8 D
  · TOKINA 12-24/4.0 (IF) DX
  · NIKON AF 50/1,4
  · NIKON 24-120/3.5-5.6 D
  · NIKKN 55/2.8 Macro
  · SIGMA 70-210/2.8 APO

Cause it's a lens with fixed focal distance, I've always to find my place to make the shot. No chance to zoom. I think that gives a feeling and connection to the object that can't be reached by a zoom-where-you-stand-lens.
- I found my way: showing what I see. Sometimes I see the motifs outside and make the shot - sometimes I see th motifs in my imagination, I have to arrange them and make than the shot.

And: I'm not a great commenter or inviter nor a great every-day-photostream-visitor. Sometimes I'll come back to your streams and I'll look, fave or comment your photos.
This can be less or more often.

Thank you for visiting my stream.

"If you are a fan of expertly composed, stunningly shot explosions of color, look no further than crosslens's stream. It is truly a marvel to behold. He can take the most mundane scene and make it pop with artistic vibrance. I have not seen anything on his stream that is short of brilliance. Thank you for brighting my day with your eye!!"

"Crosslens' photos have been quietly finding their way into my favourites for many months now so I thought it was time I said what a great photographer he is. His photostream is a great body of work and well worth exploring. Though he says he's not a great commenter, I'd disagree - he's a great contact to have and a very talented and prolific photographer."

    Peter… says:

"you have a great eye. the more your work with the lens, the more i like what you see. great compositions, and eye for detail, color and relationships. an appreciation for shallow DOF, which I share. I gravitate towards your images, and don't always know why... which means I really like them. the unsaid, the unspoken, what's not seen but implied... the mystery is what draws me in. süper! bk"
