I am an illustrator who recently relocated from Tampa, Florida to San Francisco, CA! I make images inspired by children and animals (and recently, vikings). I like visual simplicity and clarity, clean lines and crisp colors, silly and whimsical subject matter and anthropomorphic critters. I run a small shop called Cuddlefish Press that creates artwork for children's rooms, nurseries and other magical spaces.

My illustrations are developed the old fashioned way, using pencils, pens and ink; they are then colored using digital media. I sometimes dabble in letterpress, printing small cards and stationery on my 19th century tabletop press. In my free time I collect stamps, drink coffee and take naps. And since people are interested in this sort of thing: I have a degree in Asian Religions from New College of Florida, but rarely find any occasion to use it.
