We are in a Pandemic Influenza Year from a virus which is,
killing the same age ranges as 1918,
(and 1/3 of the H1N1 Firstwave hospitalizations & deaths in the US have been in healthy people, and,
"60% of the US deaths were Under age 49:
everyone is at risk). (Especially pregnant women.)
"Flu" & PanFlu are contagious 1 to 2 days Before symptoms,
and the virus is Airborne contagious;
Not just getting coughed on or touching a surface and then touching your face,
Govts didn't warn you to prepare
during the past 4 years of Alert, due to, "political and economic pressures", from within and without,
(and now, "swine flu" patients are in the same hospitals at the same time with, "bird flu" patients, in too many nations).
If you need help once sheer numbers of ill overwhelm hospitals, and, (long-forseen by govts & others) disruptions in local services, infrastructure, and/or global supply chains start,
your officals, (who perhaps didn't tell your community to prepare because a few govt people want to, "have to" declare Martial Law?)
may "communicate" they are, "Shocked, shocked!"
but, Panflu is *not*, "mild" (or, "Spanish Flu in 1918 was "mild" too; since 98% of cases didn't die)
and only give you, "Sorry" but, "You're On Your Own":
