I hate to start with the negative, but I still have problems with poachers and such, so....
If you send me a friend request, but don't have images to share, I figure you're just farming, and I will BLOCK you. If you only share images of your penis, I'll BLOCK your penis. I BLOCK and report people who repost my images without my permission. If it's a commercial site, I prosecute. Ask the guy in Canada (wasn't Flickr).
And now, on to the niceness.
I am a freelance teacher, writer and photographer. Which order these fall in may vary depending on the day you ask.
Mostly I photograph people, and mix it up between shooting in and out of the studio. I prefer to photograph people in a natural environment.I shot everything in my profile, and I own the copyright to all of it. I have releases and ID on file for all of my models.
I am always interested in constructive critique of my work. It helps me see things I hadn't noticed or get new ideas. In that way I hope to continually improve.
I think Flickr is great, and really appreciate the community here. I occasionally get requests from well-meaning people who want me to post my images to their group. If it's appropriate, I will. Please don't be offended if I don't accept your request to post my nudes in your public group.
I link to people who post only their own work, though I do sometimes make exceptions where the original photographers/artists are clearly credited with the original work and has given permission for it to appear there.
If you read this far, I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy my work. I also hope to enjoy yours. I think Flickr is great, and I will probably always be here.
